About Logan
About me
Hi, I'm Logan! I'm from Auckland and I'm studying a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Performing Arts at the University of Otago. Kind of a random combination, but somehow it works! I wanted to become an advisor because I remember how overwhelming Year 13 was. It felt like everyone else had a colour-coded five-year plan, while I was just trying to decide what I wanted for lunch. You don't need to have your whole future figured out before you start uni, despite what it might feel like right now. Whether you're stressing about degrees, halls, making friends, or wondering if everyone else knows what they're doing (they don't), I'm always happy to chat. There are no silly questions!
My uni experience
Law has mostly lectures with about one to two tutorials per week. There's a lot of reading to do, but it's not impossible to keep on top of! Performing Arts is very chilled. Mostly practical classes, with the odd lecture here and there. Nothing too academic in terms of reading and writing. I was in Te Rangihiroa hall in first year. Brand new building and great facilities, and lots of students, so it was easy to find your people! I'm part of quite a few clubs and societies and I highly recommend joining some! They're a great way to meet people, especially those with the same interests, and they hold fun events all the time.
Hobbies
Cooking and playing music!
