• Name and email address (students, advisors, and school contacts)
• School name and year level (students)
• University, degree, and year of study (advisors)
• Booking details, including topics you want to discuss
• Payment information, processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

How we use it

• To match students with advisors and facilitate bookings
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and follow-up emails
• To process payments through Stripe
• To generate Zoom links for calls through Zoom's API

Who we share it with

• Stripe (payment processing)
• Zoom (video call links)
• Resend (sending emails)
• Your matched advisor or student, limited to what's needed for the call (name, topics, email)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data storage

Your information is stored securely using Supabase. We take reasonable steps to protect it, but no online system is completely secure.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at nextchatsnz@gmail.com.
