About Rebecca
About me
Hey, I'm Rebecca! I'm a third-year student at UC, originally from Auckland. I struggled a lot when it came to choosing where to study and what to do, so I'm really happy to help others going through the same thing. I play football and love hanging out with friends and family.
My uni experience
Not too demanding at all. I'm usually only at uni for around two hours a day, which leaves a lot of time for everything else. I was in University Hall at UC, on the west side in Ngata. I had the best year ever and to this day I still wouldn't choose to be in any other hall. It's very chilled, you get a lot of freedom, and the people are so nice. The food was okay, no five-star restaurant, but there are heaps of options. Weekends were super busy with lots of people hanging out outside, and the social atmosphere in the hall was a really fun part of the experience. I'm part of a few clubs including Women in Business and UCom. It's easy to balance uni with clubs, sport, and social life when you're on top of your work.
Hobbies
Football, water sports, editing, and spending time with friends and family.
